As a Positive Eating & Lifestyle Coach, I’m hugely passionate about helping as many people as possible to discover a liberating and fresh perspective when it comes to eating, moving and living well.
I spent years being afraid of food, putting in place lots of rules about what I was and wasn't ‘allowed’ to eat and placing an unhelpful 'calorie burning' emphasis on exercise. I would often find myself pitching food and exercise against each other in a constant battle for 'control'. This approach gave me the 'illusion' of control but deep down it was making me miserable and I was stuck in an unhelpful, vicious cycle that my actions just kept reinforcing.
I wanted out of this cycle! So, I have spent the last 15 years re-educating myself, digging deep to find out what makes me tick, going against the grain and shunning the latest ‘trends’ in search of a style of intuitive eating that feels sustainable and enjoyable to me as a unique individual. Is my eating, movement and lifestyle perfect? Of course not. Am I still learning and discovering and adapting? Absolutely. Do I now enjoy a level of genuine control that is balanced and helpful? I believe I do. Am I happy and energised and nourished with a style that works for me? YES!!
